24 hours with... Mehernosh Pithawalla

Ever wondered what an ideal day in the life of someone from advertising/marketing/media is? We're here to spill the beans on it.

Every Tuesday, we'll have a person from the advertising/marketing/media industry profiled in this section.

Name: Mehernosh Pithawalla

Job: Senior vice president and head of brand and strategic insights, Godrej & Boyce

Professional and personal mantra:  I have always believed in living life to the fullest. So whether I am at work or home, I believe in putting my best into each moment.

6am: My day starts with a workout in the morning for 30 minutes and I am ready for the day.

7am: After that, I get ready and head to office.

9am: I arrive at work and given that I work for a conglomerate with very diverse businesses that’s highly entrepreneurial and always on the move we brainstorm spontaneously if there are no meetings.

1pm: I enjoy lunch with my team. It’s a common ground to just be free for 30 minutes of conversation about the latest shows and movies and what we’re planning over the weekend.

1:45pm: It's back to the work wagon because whether it's conversation on a current campaign or brainstorming for a new campaign, communication strategy or even a new leg to the internal entrepreneurial initiatives, my day is always chock-a-block. It’s all about “what’s next” for me and my team. We celebrate our wins – both big and small – and plan for the next new thing to dive into.

6:30-7pm: I leave office. Once I’m home in the evening, I unwind by watching an OTT series or some days it’s cricket. I’m quite a gadget enthusiast, so I have everything from the latest phone, tablet, wireless earphones and smartwatch. I’m also an audiophile so I really enjoy watching my favourite OTT series on my home theatre system.

10pm: I make it a point to sleep early.

Over the weekend:

Weekends, it’s party time! Being a travel enthusiast who loves driving, most weekends I drive to new places that are close to the sea and I can just enjoy the peace and tranquillity that nature has to offer. I find it a great way to reset for the week ahead. While travelling, I also enjoy experimenting with different cuisines, not only from India but also around the world.
