Campaign India Agency Report Card 2011: Network Advertising

Type of agency: Advertising

Ownership: Independent

Key Personnel: Vinod Nair, MD, Nilesh Vaidya, ECD, Sunit Khot, VP, DB Murali, EVP

Account won: Bridgestone Tyres, Birla Wellness and Healthcare, Parag Milk Foods’ Gowardhan Ghee, Nilon’s Enterprises, KCP Cement and Sonal Realty, Tikona Digital Networks

Network Advertising has been one of those agencies that has a great legacy but has not managed to sweat its equity. The jury was of the opinion that what was once a great agency with strong clients like Thomas Cook, Jet Airways, BBC, has none of these accounts in its treasure chest anymore. In 2011, though the agency won a few businesses, they did not match up to what the agency used to handle a few years ago. In terms of people movement, Nilesh Vaidya, who was with Euro RSCG, moved back to the agency as ECD.
