In November 2011, TME (media planning and buying arm of Rediffusion Young & Rubicam and Everest Brand Solutions) and MPG entered into a strategic alliance. This synergy was a shot in the arm for the agency as they had significant businesses like Paras Foods, Tata Motors, Taj Group, Parle, Heinz, Tata Motors,  coming in due to the partnership. The agency also managed to retain the business of MTS Mobiles. However, it lost Reckitt Benckiser, Maxx Mobile and Jockey this year.  With respect to appointments, the agency brought in Pritesh Bhatnagar as GM – finance, Kunal Jamuar as executive director MPG – West, R Subramaniam as executive director, Gautam Rajagopal,  VP - MPG Solutions, Arijit Chakraborty as  AVP finance – APAC for MPG – investments, Arnav Neel Ghosh as GM - Mobext South Asia, Ashutosh Shrivastava as business director – Mobext and Anurag Bhatnagar as head for Media Contacts, India.
