LINOpinion Public Relations has recently announced the promotion of its senior vice president Kavita Lakhani (pictured) to a new role. She is now president of LINOpinion and will continue to be based in Mumbai.

LINOpinion Public Relations has recently announced the promotion of its senior vice president Kavita Lakhani (pictured) to a new role. She is now president of LINOpinion and will continue to be based in Mumbai.

Commenting about the appointment, Ameer Ismail, executive director, LINOpinion said, "Kavita's promotion is a reflection of her valued contribution that has helped us grow into a significant player in the PR industry.  She has been instrumental in driving LINOpinion’s stable and successful growth year on year. She has also been a key driver for LINOpinion in achieving its commitments and contributing to our overall positive perception internally within Lowe Lintas and in the marketplace.”   

Added Charles Cadell, CEO, Lowe Lintas India said, "The promotion is doubly important because it reflects the central role of LINOpinion in Lowe Lintas and its key talent in strengthening our Public Relations operations in India.”

Lakhani's new mandate will be to oversee Lintas’ PR operations and growth in India. She will focus on business development, providing counsel for building corporate equity, brand protection and crisis management. In her new role as president, she will also ensuring seamless interaction and co-ordination with LINOpinion’s global PR partner, Golin Harris (an Interpublic owned company).
