Zepto promises speedy delivery with Jasprit Bumrah

Watch the film conceptualised by L&K Saatchi & Saatchi

Zepto has announced the appointment of Jasprit Bumrah as brand ambassador and rolled out a campaign featuring the fast bowler.

Conceptualised by L&K Saatchi & Saatchi, the campaign is titled ‘groceries delivered at Bumrah speed,' and consists of three films. One of them is currently on-air and features Bumrah as a back-seat driver instructing the pilot to increase his speed.

Viral Jhaveri, chief growth officer, Zepto, said, "Our partnership with Jasprit underscores our commitment to pushing boundaries, achieving perfection, and delivering with speed, consistency and precision, much like Bumrah on the cricket field.”

Kartik Smetacek, joint NCD, L&K Saatchi & Saatchi, said, "Zepto and Bumrah is a marriage made in marketing heaven. On the face of it, having India's fastest bowler endorse a quick commerce brand seems obvious. So it was important the campaign used him in a way that was less than obvious. This film and the two to follow deliver on that, using Bumrah in a fresh, surprising, uniquely Zepto way."

The film is running on Disney+ Hotstar and other OTT platforms.
