Nasher Miles, Myntra launch Pride campaign
Indian luggage brand Nasher Miles has partnered with fashion platform Myntra to launch a Pride campaign called ‘Show Your Colour With Pride’. The initiative features Lauren Robinson, a voiceover artist, actor, drag performer and creator from the LGBTQIA+ community. Nasher Miles and Myntra also changed Goa Airport's baggage claim into a Pride display, turning the baggage carousel into a rainbow runway. Passengers' luggage rolled out on coloured belts, creating an immersive Pride experience that was shared on social media by influencers and travellers.

Social’s Satrangi Mela returns Pride celebration
Restaurant chain Social reintroduced Satrangi Mela (seven-colour fair) across nine cities—Chandigarh, Dehradun, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Indore, Pune, Hyderabad, Delhi and Kolkata—between June and July as an all-day queer fest at its café-bar venues. Curated by the community, each mela combined performances, flea markets, mixers and showcases of queer talent. M·A·C Cosmetics hosted makeup masterclasses in select cities under its long-standing LGBTQIA+ advocacy.

Tinder revives Queer Made Weekend events
Tinder held its Queer Made Weekend festival on 8 June at DLF Promenade in New Delhi with a Mumbai edition on 21 June at Famous Studio. Curated by Gaysi Family, the events showcased queer performances and a marketplace of queer-owned businesses including FruitySideUp, House of Hestia, Ro’s Apothecary, Palat, Planet, Astitva and Sheer. The app also reintroduced in-app Pride profile stickers—Happy Pride, Proud, Ally, Protect Trans People, Pride Flag and Shine On—and will donate $1 per sticker to the Human Rights Campaign up to $1,00,000 for the month of June.
Mandi cast reunites at Kashish Pride Film Festival
The 16th Kashish Pride Film Festival in Mumbai saw the reunion of the cast and crew of Mandi (1983) after 42 years, with a special screening at Cinepolis Andheri West. The event paid tribute to filmmaker Shyam Benegal, festival patron since 2011, and formed part of a retrospective on his work. The screening revisited the film’s themes of power, patriarchy and sexuality and its impact on Indian cinema. Attendees reflected on the production’s collaborative nature and Benegal’s democratic directing style. Kashish says the reunion honours contributors who shaped inclusive and boundary-pushing storytelling.

MagickHome launches Make Room for Pride
MagickHome unveiled ‘Make Room for Pride’ (create space for Pride), inviting LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples to enter a contest for one of two home-interior makeovers worth INR 5,00,000 each. The campaign partners include queer artists Atulan and Divesh (@honey.imm.home) and community groups LGBT Mumbai, BeUnic India and Lucknow Queer Pride. Winners’ journeys will be documented in short reels on MagickHome’s social channels. MagickHome says the campaign aims to offer sanctuaries free from judgment and to demonstrate that a home should be a place of safety and self-expression.

Future Generali leads 'Walk with Pride'
Future Generali India Insurance Company held its 'Walk with Pride' at Mumbai, organising a three-kilometre walkathon to raise funds for The Humsafar Trust. For every participant, the insurer donated to support healthcare access for the LGBTQIA+ community. Over 500 employees, corporate allies and community advocates took part.

Sleepyhead launches 'Straight Isn’t Default' campaign
Sleepyhead introduced its ‘Straight Isn’t the Default’ campaign on 26 June, featuring a limited-edition Pride Sofa and a tilted website experience. The Pride Sofa will appear in immersive out-of-home installations at bus shelters in Koramangala, Marathahalli and Banaswadi, Bengaluru. The tilted site design extends the campaign’s theme that comfort and identity need not conform to straight lines. Sleepyhead says the sofa is available online and at its Bengaluru stores, aiming to celebrate individuals who live and love without constraints.

Godrej Capital expands LGBTQIA+ inclusion agenda
Godrej Capital launched Qnity, an employee resource group for LGBTQIA+ staff and allies, to strengthen allyship through programmes, dialogue and leadership involvement. Over the past year, targeted outreach and partnerships screened 500 profiles, resulting in a five-fold increase in LGBTQIA+ hires during Pride Month. Inclusive policies now cover all-gender restrooms, a gender-affirmative care policy, flexible leave and loan products for same-gender partners. The firm also runs Pride Path (hiring initiative for collections roles) and partnered with Aravani Art Project on a mural at its Kanjurmarg office. Nukkad Natak (street theatre) across branches aimed to bring queer narratives to customer-facing teams. Godrej Capital says these measures embed inclusion into daily experience and lay the groundwork for lasting change.
