Hyundai celebrates 7 mn milestone with 'Happy stories'

Watch the ad films conceptualised by Innocean Worldwide here

Hyundai rolled out its seven millionth car in India in November 2016. To celebrate, a campaign has been conceptualised by Innocean Worldwide that unveils 'Happy stories' from customers.

One of the films features a lady packing as her young children play in the background. She says that for Colonel Roy (her husband), the country comes before them. But the children don't understand that. So, she's driving them down to meet their father and the rest of the army during their vacation. She thanks Hyundai for enabling the same, as the celebratory message is conveyed through brand ambassador, Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, and a bunch of dancers: 'Celebrating seven million cars, with seven million happy stories.'

Another film features an aged man and his son seated alongside. The father is busy looking at something through a magnifying glass. Talking to the camera, the younger man claims that earlier it was he who asked his father for the car. He reveals that the trend has reversed now, because his dad derives 'special joy' in making 'Sharma uncle' jealous. He thanks Hyundai for the same.

The campaign went live on YouTube on 5 December 2016.
