Haven "The beach boy" by Iris

Haven's latest spot promotes the Great British coastline.

The ad follows a young beach-goer as he cruises down the coast on a horse-drawn chariot. Holidaymakers watch in awe as the horses gallop across the beach to the tune of Swords of a Thousand Men by Tenpole Tudor. Things take a turn, however, when it is revealed there is no horse and cart, and the boy is simply running down the beach with his dog.

Showcasing the brand’s partnership with Team GB, this film comes alongside 30- and 10-second ads which see the young protagonist run into Olympians Tom Daley and Denise Lewis at a Haven resort. The work was created by Mike Pantelis and Andy Stavrou, and directed by Vince Squibb through Academy. Media was handled by MediaCom Leeds.
