Warc top 100: India slips one place in media rankings
 
The Warc Media 100, a list of rankings based on the most awarded global campaigns across media agencies have been released.
 
India ended the year at fifth place, one below last year. USA topped the list followed by UK, China (mainland) and Canada.
 
Among the most awarded agencies for media, Mindshare Mumbai was the highest rated Indian agency with 178.1 points ending at number four. Other Indian agencies in the top 100 included Wavemaker Mumbai (11th), Initiative Bengaluru (33rd) and Lodestar UM Mumbai (46th). MediaCom's New York office topped the list.
 
Mindshare was the most awarded network.
 
In the top 100 campaigns globally, Mindshare Mumbai had four. Its campaign 'Stamina Meter' for Boost finished 11th, 'Career from home' for Active Wheel was placed 18th, 'The Indoor Polution Alert System' for Blueair was ranked 68th and 'How UltraTech leveraged multiple channels to establish itself as a home building companion' was ranked 90th.
 
Wavemaker Mumbai's 'Matchmaker' for Netflix was ranked 33rd. The agency's 'Not Just a Cadbury Ad', which was entered in awards along with Ogilvy Mumbai was ranked 40th.
 
Lodestar UM's 'The Punishing Signal' for Mumbai Police was ranked 39th globally.
 
Initiative Bengaluru's 'Cultural Activation - Why just a clean home' for Gala and '#ShareAMeal - we are hope' for India Gate were also ranked 68th.
