upGrad appoints Anuj Vishwakarma
upGrad has announced the appointment of Anuj Vishwakarma as president, online higher-ed programs. 
 
Vishwakarma will be responsible for building the brand’s online higher-ed vertical by implementing long-term strategies and growth practices to scale its businesses. 
 
He moves from Ola, where he was head of revenue and growth. 
 
Mayank Kumar, co-founder, and managing director, upGrad, said, "We operate in a golden era where the demand for online higher education will continue to propel and therefore, we need a solution-focused leader who comes with strong hands-on skills. Anuj, for his domain inclination, is best suited to perform in-depth market research and consumer insights to spearhead our vertical growth. In a career spanning over 11 years, he has also worked with Reliance Retail, Myntra Jabong and Paytm, among others.
