PRCAI elects new managing committee

Integral PR’s Sharif D Rangnekar has been elected President, Genesis BM’s Nikhil Dey vice president, and Shivraj Prasad of The Practice is secretary

PRCAI elects new managing committee

The Public Relations Consultants Association of India (PRCAI), a body of communications and public relations consultancies has elected a new management committee and support chapter heads. The elected members are Sharif D Rangnekar, chief executive officer and director, Integral PR (president), Nikhil Dey, president - public relations, Genesis Burson Marsteller (vice president) and Shivraj Parshad, principal, The Practice (secretary).

Regional chapter heads (chairpersons) elected include Integral PR’s Ajay Lamba (North); Shane Jacob of The Practice (South); Waggener Edstrom’s Madhuri Sen (West) and Integral PR’s Basav Bhattacharya (East).

On his new role and the way forward for PRCAI, Rangnekar said, “PRCAI is committed to its mission: to build and enhance benchmarks relevant to our business including the areas of knowledge, ethics and expertise. PRCAI intends to focus on talent at one level as well as create platforms that recognise quality of work done by the industry so as to showcase the best work done by our industry.”
