PepsiCo India Foods' CEO Varun Berry to exit

Pepsico India has announced that Varun Berry, chief executive officer of PepsiCo India Foods, has decided to leave the company. Berry’s 18-year career at PepsiCo included roles in the company’s businesses in India, Asia and the Middle East. As the leader of PepsiCo India Foods, he oversaw the company’s Lay’s, Quaker, Kurkure and Lehar brands.

Previously, Berry served in Dubai as the head of International Dairy & Juice, Ltd, PepsiCo’s joint venture with Saudi Arabia-based dairy company Almarai.

Prior to that he was the general manager for PepsiCo in the Philippines, with responsibility for both foods and beverages, and earlier he served the company in Vietnam.

In a statement, the company said, "PepsiCo is grateful for Varun Berry’s service and we wish him and his family the very best in their future endeavours."
