More than two in five media professionals feel that their companies will fare worse in the next six months, showing a bleak outlook towards their short-term future, according to a LinkedIn report. 
The report reveals that along with media professionals, IT and manufacturing professionals are also fearing their short-term futures as these industries face growth pressure because of Covid-19.
 
When it comes to long term growth, however 67 per cent of the media professionals are confident that their companies will perform better. 
 
Professionals in corporate services, healthcare, and are education most confident about jobs, finances, and careers.
 
The findings also revealed that one in three Indians have reported a decrease in their personal incomes.
 
The LinkedIn study, Workforce Confidence Index, was carried between 13-19 April.
