Manish Kinger joins Schbang as ECD

Moves from FCB

Manish Kinger joins Schbang as ECD
Schbang has announced the appointment of Manish Kinger as executive creative director for its Delhi office.

He will be responsible for building its northern arm and will be working alongside Aditya Mehendale, national creative director, Schbang.

Kinger moves from FCB, where he was senior creative director.

Mehendale said, “Keeping our vision as  Schbang in mind it’s not just creating that matters, it’s equal parts building and Manish is extremely adept at both. Having done this at multiple outfits before, we see him playing a big part in shaping the work, creative practices, culture and even identity of our office in Delhi. If I were you, I’d watch out keenly for the Schbang that is to come.”

Kinger said, “Digital is not the future of advertising, rather it has been its evolving, problem-solving, conversation-leading present for a while now. But only a handful of communication outfits have truly accepted this and are creating work that by all means, leverages the power of digital/social. Schbang in my opinion is one-of-the flag bearers of this intent.”

He added, “In their work, the invisible underline where technology meets creativity is very clear and visible. This new-age, incredibly relevant and instinctively creative edge is also my kind of work. This is why taking on the opportunity to build Schbang Delhi excited me enough to take on this challenge. I'm more than ready to be in the middle of this necessary madness and look forward to creating some schbanging work with this crazy lot.”

In a career spanning over 13 years, Kinger has also worked with ADK Fortune Communications, Rediffusion Y&R, and Grey Group, among others.
