Lowe 're-launches' Clinic Plus

Unilever has launched a new campaign to 're-launch' its entry-level shampoo brand, Clinic Plus. The campaign has been conceptualised by Lowe. The creative team includes Madhu Noorani and Samrat Dasgupta. The film has been directed by Sunhill Sippy of Highlight Films

The spot opens with a mother trying to persuade her daughter's coach to allow her daughter to play in the school cricket team. The coach tells her that it's a boys' game and her skin and hair will get spoilt. The mother confidently tells him to just take care of her training and leave the rest to her. On the field, the girl scores a six and surprises everyone. The film ends with the voice over talking about the benefits of Clinic Plus.

Lowe India has created the campaign for Southeast Asian markets as well, in which cricket has been replaced with soccer.

Samrat Dasgupta, creative director, Lowe said, "This is the re-launch campaign for the brand. Our brief was that what boys can do, girls can do better because they make it look good. There is a mother-daughter equity associated with the brand. We wanted to take this forward. The daughter is the extension of her mother's dreams and the mother is her guardian angel."
