KV Sridhar on NY Festival 2014 executive jury

New York Festivals 'World’s Best Advertising' awards has announced the second round of executive jury appointments for its 2014 edition.

KV Sridhar, chief creative officer, India sub-continent, Leo Burnett, is on the 30-member executive jury, which will judge entries shortlisted by a 400-strong 'online grand jury' representing 75 countries.

Judging by the executive jury is slated for 25 to 29 April in New York City.

Other executive jury members named alongside Sridhar are:

  • Mike Geiger, president and chief integration officer, JWT North America, USA
  • Ronald Ng, CCO, BBDO & Proximity Singapore
  • Luiz Sanches, CCO and Partner, Almap BBDO, Brazil
  • Erik Vervroegen, international creative director, Publicis Worldwide, France

More names are to be announced, according to organisers.

“New York Festivals' two-tiered judging system puts entries through the rigor of multiple scoring rounds combining two dynamic juries,” said Michael O’Rourke, president, New York Festivals.

The 2014 New York Show will take place on 1 May and feature creative panel discussions, keynote speakers, networking events, the awards ceremony, and an after-party to honour winners.
