Imagine TV names Harsh Rohatgi as head of content and communication

As part of a re-structuring move, Turner General Entertainment Networks India has announced that Harsh Rohatgi (pictured) will take over the role of head - content and communication of its flagship Hindi GEC, Imagine TV, with immediate effect.

As part of a re-structuring move, Turner General Entertainment Networks India has announced that Harsh Rohatgi (pictured) will take over the role of head - content and communication of its flagship Hindi GEC, Imagine TV, with immediate effect.  A key member of the management team of Imagine since inception, Harsh previously held the position of EVP - revenue management and new ventures.
 
In his new role, Harsh will oversee all the creative, strategic, marketing, commercial and management functions of Imagine which will include programming, marketing, communication, commercial, research and strategic planning. 
 
Confirming the development, Sameer Nair, CEO, Turner General Entertainment Networks, said, "Harsh has been part of my core team from the very beginning and has a good understanding of varied functions and roles across the company. I am confident that in his new role, Harsh, with the support of his talented team, will help Imagine achieve success in the ratings war, and soon become the leading player in the Hindi GE space."
 
An MBA from IIM-A, Harsh began his career with Pepsi India in the sales team.  He moved to Star India in 2000 where he held various positions across marketing, programming and business operations, in Channel [V], Star Vijay and Star Plus. Just prior to joining Imagine in 2007, Harsh served as general manager, content and communication at Star India.
