Dish TV’s chief executive Arun Kumar Kapoor quits

Dish TV’s CEO Arun Kumar Kapoor has called it quits. His next destination is still not known.Kapoor joined Dish TV in November 2006. Before Dish TV, he has worked for Hutchison Essar South Limited, where he was the CEO for the Punjab Circle. He has also worked for companies such as UB Group, Gillette, Pepsi, Spice Cell, Airtel and IBM Daksh.

Dish TV’s CEO Arun Kumar Kapoor has called it quits. His next destination is still not known.


Kapoor joined Dish TV in November 2006. Before Dish TV, he has worked for Hutchison Essar South Limited, where he was the CEO for the Punjab Circle. He has also worked for companies such as UB Group, Gillette, Pepsi, Spice Cell, Airtel and IBM Daksh.


According to a statement released by the company, during Kapoor’s tenure, Dish TV consolidated its position of the country’s largest DTH platform, which carries 185 channels and has over 3 million subscribers. The company has a market share of 59%.
