Loveleen Raina, Steve Hugh and Sandip Mahapatra will lead the business, creative and planning functions respectively

Commonwealth Mumbai unveils senior leadership team

Commonwealth Mumbai, the General Motors-centric JV between McCann Worldgroup and Goodby Silverstein and Partners, has unveiled its senior leadership team.

Loveleen Raina will be the  regional business leader. She has prior experience on GM business, and was previously heading Mumbai 2 at McCann Worldgroup as vice president and general manager.

The creative function will be led by regional creative director, Steve Hugh, who shifts from Ogilvy Dubai. He has also worked at Saatchi & Saatchi London, Collett Dickenson Pearce, Colenso BBDO in Auckland, O&M in Singapore, and Saatchi & Saatchi Kuala Lumpur.

Sandip Mahapatra will be regional planning director and lead the strategic planning function. This is his second stint with McCann, as he had headed the planning function a few years ago for the north India operations before leaving for McCann Indonesia. 

Commenting on the team, Prasoon Joshi, chairman and chief executive officer of McCann Worldgroup India and board member of Commonwealth Global, said, "Commonwealth is a drive for excellence and efficiency and I am pleased to have such an experienced and talented leadership leading the Mumbai hub."
