APAC Effie Awards 2022: Ogilvy Mumbai bags 'agency of the year'

India bagged a total of 14 wins at the 2022 edition of the APAC Effie Awards. 
 
Ogilvy Mumbai won seven Effies and bagged the ‘agency of the year’ title. The tally consisted of a Grand Effie, three Gold, two Silver and a Bronze.
 
The Grand Effie and Gold wins were for Cadbury Celebrations’ ‘Not Just a Cadbury Ad’. The agency won a Silver each for Dove's 'Stop The Beauty Test' and Coca-Cola's 'Inverting Conventions to Win'. The entry for Coca-Cola also bagged Bronze.
 
The Womb became the first Indian agency to bag the ‘independent agency of the year’ accolade. Its wins included four Silver Effies and a Bronze. Two of the Silvers came for Nobel Hygiene ('It's Okay To Pee In Your Pants' and 'The Undie Army'). The other Silver wins were for Cipla Health's 'The Sleeping Night' and Campus Activewear's 'Shoes for Your Hands'. The entry for Campus Activwear also won Bronze. The agency finished third on the overall 'agency of the year' list, behind Ogilvy Mumbai and Sydney.
 
Other Indian winners included Leo Burnett and McCann. The agencies won a Bronze each for P&G's 'Keep Girls in School' and Nestle India's 'Creating India's Coffee Generation' respectively.
