An art-copy team from Circus, Peru has won the Gold for their print ad in the Young Lions competition at Cannes 2010. This year, the brief came from Plan, one of the oldest and largest children's development organizations in the world. The task set for the young creatives was to inspire the target audience to “Sponsor a Child”, particularly a girl. Peru’s ad is based on the idea that if a girl is removed from a situation of poverty, so is her family. Omar Sotomayor is the copywriter and Gaston Soto Denegri is art.
