Vikram Chandra steps down as group CEO at NDTV
Vikramaditya Chandra has stepped down from his position as group CEO and executive director at NDTV. Chandra was appointed group CEO in 2011 for a term of three years which was extended by two years. 
 
Chandra has been associated with the group since 1994. He intends to return to full time journalism within NDTV and focus on the TV shows of the group, informed a statement from the broadcaster. He will continue to work as consulting editor with NDTV.  
 
KVL Narayan Rao, executive vice chairperson, will take on the group CEO responsibilities in addition to his current role. Rao has been associated with the company for nearly 22 years in various capacities including as group CEO.
