Super Follows has been launched in the US and Canada

Twitter to help users monetise content with Super Follows
Twitter has announced the launch of Super Follows, a way for users with over 10,000 followers to charge their followers a monthly subscription fee for access to additional content.

Super Follows will allow creators to share an extra level of content and conversation with their most engaged followers on Twitter. Through Super Follows, creators can set a monthly subscription of $2.99, $4.99 or $9.99 a month to give their followers extra access to their content. Payments are processed through Stripe.

Creators can earn up to 97% of revenue through their Super Follows subscription, after third party in-app purchase fees, and until they reach US$50,000 in lifetime earnings across all Twitter monetisation products. After US$50,000 in lifetime earnings, they can earn up to 80% of revenue after third party in-app purchase fees.

Creators can share Super Follows Tweets on iOS only and Super Follows Tweets can be viewed on iOS, with Android and Twitter.com coming soon.
