At iris India, Vij will be responsible for ensuring better integrated communication solutions by motivating and nurturing talent within the agency as well as bringing future growth to the client’s businesses.

He will report to Alok Lall, MD, iris India. Said Vij, “The agency model in India still has a traditional mindset when it comes to communication and apart from few one-off’s agency thinking is generally still limited to creating 30-second spots. We are in a new world today where consumers interact with multiple media simultaneously and are also becoming the custodians of content. And in this scenario where advertisers are fighting for eyeballs, the need of the hour is to make the brands play an active role in engaging with the customers. This is a huge need gap and iris is perfectly positioned to plug this gap in bringing brands closer to the consumers”.

Vij has previously worked with Vyas Giannetti Creative (VGC) as its vice president and branch head of Delhi operations. Prior to VGC, Vij spent three and half years managing the Bharti Airtel business nationally at Rediffusion Y&R. He has also worked with Bates 141, Ogilvy & Mather, RK Swamy BBDO, Lowe and Draft FCB Ulka in various capacities.
