Rajesh Sharma joins TBWA\Mumbai as planning head

TBWA\India has appointed Rajesh Sharma as planning head for Mumbai. Sharma moves from Lowe Lintas Mumbai after a seven-year stint with the agency, where his last designation was senior brand planning director.

Sharma has experience in categories such as financial products, hair care, food, personal care etc., and has worked on brands such as ICICI Bank, ICICI Prudential, Clinic and Clinic All Clear, Future Brands, Unilever Corporate and Knorr among others.Commenting on his appointment, Sharma said, “There are very few places in the advertising industry where an account planner can learn the tricks of his trade. Having learnt something from one (Lowe) I have now come to another (TBWA\) to learn some more.”

Nirmalya Sen, managing director, TBWA\India, said, “Rajesh’s mandate would be to lead a strong pool of brand planning talent in Mumbai and to ensure our clients and their brands benefit from our philosophy – Disruption.”
