Creative leadership changes across offices; Akshay Kapnadak, Abhinav Tripathi, Denzil Machado, Anil Thomas rise

Pradyumna Chauhan and Prateek Bhardwaj promoted as joint NCDs at McCann Erickson

McCann Worldgroup India has announced senior creative leadership changes with elevations across offices of flagship advertising agency McCann Erickson.

Pradyumna Chauhan, who was roped in to head McCann Worldgroup's 'Creative Central' as ECD in July 2013, has been elevated to the position of joint NCD, McCann Erickson.

Prateek Bhardwaj, co-founder of Eleven Brandworks, who returned to McCann Worldgroup (around) two months back as creative head of group agency TAG, has also been promoted as joint NCD of McCann Erickson.

The duo will report to Prasoon Joshi, chairman, CEO and CCO, McCann Worldgroup India.

On the developments, Joshi said, “As an agency we are committed to our clients’ business and do everything possible to bring the best and most cutting-edge talent on board. These are carefully selected professionals in whom I have great faith and high expectations. I am positive that they will further enhance our creative product and add yet another dimension to the McCann offering.”

Chauhan said, “McCann has a stellar creative reputation and I am excited with the new role. I look forward to taking the agency to greater heights.”

Bhardwaj added, “Having worked here earlier and having seen the world I am certain that I can tangibly add value to our clients with the new responsibility entrusted to us.”

In other changes, Akshay Kapnadak (ECD) and Abhinav Tripathi (senior CD) have been elevated to the role of creative heads of McCann Erickson Mumbai. They will be responsible for the creative department in Mumbai alongside Denzil Machado, will head ‘craft excellence’.

McCann Erickson's creative head for South, Anil Thomas, will now have extended responsibilities with his role expanding across South Asia, informed an agency statement.
