Draftfcb Ulka appoints Mehul Patil as creative director

Draftfcb Ulka has appointed Mehul Patil as creative director at the agency. Patil, who moves from Ogilvy & Mather, will be partnering Harish Murjani, creative director, Draftfcb Ulka on his accounts. He will be reporting to KS Chakravarthy (Chax), national creative director, Draftfcb Ulka.

Confirming the development, Chax, said, “I have seen his works for Vodafone, Allen Solly, among others which prompted me to hire him here. Along with focussing on certain accounts, Mehul will also be helping us bring a fresh perspective to other campaigns as well.”

“It will be great working with the new team here at Draftfcb,” added Patil.

Patil worked with Ogilvy Bangalore since 2002, before moving to Ogilvy Mumbai in 2006. Before moving to Ogilvy Mumbai, he had a short stint with Temple Advertising Bangalore in 2005.
