Law & Kenneth has had a good year in 2008. They were behind some prestigious launch campaigns for brands like Skoda’s Fabia and ITC’s Vivel Di Wills (soaps) as well as the re-launch of Kitply. Their digital division has been working on their client roster underground for a while now and it’s only recently that the agency officially announced its launch in Digital Law & Kenneth, though work on Skoda’s Fabia launch, ITC, Bombay Dyeing, Dabur, Bharti AXA has been on for a while.
New business won this year has included accounts like Times Now, for which they have done some impressive print work. Dabur Hommade and Lemoneez, Hungama, Bharti Axa Investment Manager, Bombay Dyeing Real Estate Division, Anchor Oral Care, Kitply and Raheja. Key accounts lost include Haier, Uppals Construction and Hirco were among other wins.
Business growth has been solid, and they were one of the early risers to the digital bait. As a result, their digital capabilities are strong and clients recognize that. It’s one of the reasons a client like Skoda agreed to experiment with launching their communication for the Fabia online first, with a specially created website that introduced the car’s features to prospective customers.

How LAW & KENNETH rates itself: 8
Year 2008, marks the 6th year of operations of Law & Kenneth and it has been one of the best years for the company so far, as far as business growth is concerned. We call it the year of launches which started with the mega launch of Skoda Fabia followed by a high decibel launch of Vivel Di Wills Soaps & then Vivel Shampoos.
Mid-year saw the successful launch of Bharti AXA Investment Managers and towards the end saw a series of launches for Dabur Healthcare such as Dabur Thanda Tail and Honey Mint Lozenges. It also was a year of re-launch of Kitply which gave us tremendous creative satisfaction.
We received great response to our ‘Times Now’ campaign which we are immensely proud of. We attracted a lot of dynamic, young talent across our offices and had great fun working together. Another significant setup was the launch of our Digital Division, Digital Law & Kenneth which is a separate company by itself today bagging some big accounts such as HCC, ITC, Lavasa, Skoda, Anchor etc. All in All a good year but as always it can be better.
