Adtech 2012: Round up of day 1

Ad:tech 2012, the digital advertising event in Delhi, kicked off with the Master Class series on 'Search and Social'. The workshops, powered by Communicate 2, had speakers from across a wide range of specialities sharing insights from their respective area of specialisation. 

The day kicked off with Vivek Bhargava, chief executive officer, Communicate 2, talking about targeting niche audience in the first session of the day. Master Class 2 focused on ‘Content as a brand building approach for digital’ and featured Amit Singh from Google. In another session, Neustar IP Intelligence's Miten Sampat talks about the importance of targeting communication based on users location. In a session titled 'Leveraging social media to gain a multiplier effect on all digital endeavours', Sharma talked about what YouTube India has been up to. 

Campaign India also caught up with Gulshan Verma from Komli Media who shared his thoughts on all things digital in a video interview. Also watch spokespersons from Flipkart, Aircel and Digital Law & Kenneth talk about their favourite digital brand strategy of 2011 in the second video article of the day.
