Trends Ad Film Makers has appointed Dipak Sharma as its chief executive officer. The Bangalore based ad film production house, founded by VK Prakash (pictured), is undergoing a restructuring exercise. It will appoint a panel of directors who will work on ad films, feature films and television content along with Prakash (popularly known as VKP).
Sharma has previously worked with Everest Advertising, Clarion Advertising, IB&W, Viking Video Productions and Miditech.
On his appointment, Sharma commented, “We will be turning the one director led production house into a production company which will have a panel of directors along with VKP. We will also venture into TV content this year which will mainly be regional including content for Sun TV. I will be a part of the company which is ready to expand and I believe it will be very challenging.”
VKP added, “In the beginning, we started with idea based commercials and then it moved on to execution based commercials. Now we are going back to the idea based commercials once again. We will work on advertising that can touch people’s heart. Also, we are making this a one-stop production house in a corporate manner. We have appointed Dipak as the CEO and will soon be appointing a panel of directors.”
