Santosh Padhi on NYF International Advertising Awards 2013 jury

New York Festivals (NYF) International Advertising Awards has announced the first round of Executive Jury appointments. This is the third year that NYF will assemble a 'dream team' - billed as an 'elite group of Worldwide Creative Officers brought together to select the 'World’s Best Advertising'.' 

From India, Santosh Padhi, co-founder and chief creative officer, Taproot India will be part of the jury. Other executive jury members announced so far for 2013 include: Gideon Amichay, former partner and chief creative officer, Shalmor Avnon Amichay Y&R Tel Aviv, Israel; Chris Kyme, chief executive officer, Kymechow Communications, China; Hugo Rodrigues, chief operating officer and chief creative officer, Publicis Brazil; Alexander Schill, partner and global chief creative officer, Serviceplan Group, Germany; and Shahir Zag, chief creative officer, Young & Rubicam, United Arab Emirates.

Michael O’Rourke, president, International Awards Group/New York Festivals, said, “The 2013 Executive Jury represents some of the world’s most innovative and creative minds in the advertising industry today. Entrants to the competition have the opportunity to have their work seen by this incredible brain trust, and the unique aspect of bringing together a jury of this caliber to evaluate all entries across all mediums assures that the competition is truly awarding only The World’s Best Advertising."

The NYF Executive Jury will convene in New York from 27 April to 1 May. The awards are slated for 2 May 2013.

The Executive Jury will evaluate every shortlisted entry selected by an online Grand Jury comprised of over 400 international executive creative directors.

The deadline for the 2013 competition is 27 January.
