New York Festivals open for entries
New York Festivals International Advertising Awards is now open for entries for its 2016 edition. The entry deadline is 31 January 2016.

The Festival has added Mobile, Media and Activation and Engagement categories, besides one for Best Commercial Film Director. Some have been deleted, said organisers.

Michael O’Rourke, president, New York Festivals, said, “NYF diligently monitors evolving advertising industry trends to ensure our competitions offer multiple opportunities to showcase the creative and technological advances brands employed to engage consumers. While we’ve added new competitions, we also deleted categories which no longer play a relevant role with respect to the work that’s being done today.”

The 2016 'Executive Jury' comprising 30 chief creative officers will meet from 13 to 17 May 2016 to select the ‘World’s Best Advertising’ winners from those shortlisted in an earlier round of judging.

The 2016 New York Show creative panel sessions and networking events will be hosted on 19 May.
