JWT Chennai bags GRT Jewellers' creative business

JWT Chennai bags GRT Jewellers' creative business

JWT Chennai has won the creative duties for the jewellery business division of the GRT Group. This win is a consolidation for JWT Chennai, which already handles the creative duties for the group’s hotels business.

Chennai-based Green Slate is the incumbent agency, and has been handling the business for the last five years.

In a statement confirming the win, a JWT spokesperson said, "GRT wanted a communication partner who has both a pan-India presence and a good understanding of the jewellery consumer. JWT with its strong network presence and a deep understanding of the jewellery consumer thanks to its long association with world leaders like DTC was the ideal choice."

The GRT Group is planning to expand their jewellery business to other South Indian states in the coming months.
