Dilip Marathe returns to Rediffusion Y&R

 


 

Dilip Marathe has rejoined Rediffusion Y&R as creative head - art, for LG. Marathe (pictured) had joined Percept/H last year as senior creative director, before which he was with Rediffusion Y&R for thirteen years. He will be based out of Delhi.

Speaking about Marathe's appointment, Sandeep Madan, executive vice president, Rediffusion Y&R Delhi said, "It’s great to have Dilip back. He has always been passionate and zealous about his work and I am sure that with his wide experience and long association with Rediffusion –Y&R he will add immense value to the LG brand as well as contribute significantly to the organization’s vision and growth.”

Commented Marathe, "Having spent a huge part of my career at Rediffusion, I feel like I’ve come back home, to the energy and the people I love.  I am excited and eager to be working on one of Rediffusion’s largest businesses – LG."

Marathe's experience in the advertising industry spans over 20 years. He began his career with DaCunha Communications, before moving on to Grey Worldwide (then Trikaya Grey) in 1991 as senior visualiser. He joined McCann Erickson in 1994 as art director. After a year, he moved to Rediffusion - Y&R as art director and then in 2001, he was appointed creative director of the agency. He moved to Percept/H in 2008.
