Parle Products has rolled out three ad films as part of the first phase of its nationwide litter free TV campaign. The films have been conceptualised by Thoughtshop Advertising.

The commercials are set up a series of everyday scenarios that viewers can identify with and encourage them to “Show Garbage Its Place”.

All the film’s star ‘Dustbin Man’, a character who questions all the double standards set by the characters in each film.

One of the films titled, ‘Corporate boss’, showcases a corporate boss who wants his employees to perform their duty without giving any excuses. But when it comes to performing his civic duty towards keeping society clean, he refuses to follow his own principles. This is the double standard 'Dustbin Man' reminds him of.

The second film titled, ‘Class monitor’ features a kid who is a class monitor. As he boasts about it to his friends and reiterates the fact that it’s his responsibility to teach all his classmates, he is interrupted by ‘Dustbin Man’, who reminds him of all the mistakes he’s made when it comes to keeping his surroundings clean.

The final film from the first phase is titled, ‘Shopping mall’ and features a young lady who’s busy bragging about her version of ‘Mr. Clean’ to her friends. Before she can say anything else, she is interrupted by ‘Dustbin Man’, who reminds her to practice what she preaches.

Shalin Desai, deputy marketing manager, Parle Products said, “We intend to spread a positive message with the Parle Litter Free initiative and encourage citizens to make a conscious effort to keep their environment clean. Our combined efforts will not only make a difference to the mindset of consumers but also instil a productive commitment.  We are also happy to extend our efforts to the nation in line with the ‘Swaccha Bharat Abhiyan’ launched by our PM.”
