Following its great success in the UK, Germany, Russia, the Middle East and Ukraine PrintWeek—the world’s best read printing magazine—is now in India. The print industry has a key role to play in India’s rapidly developing economy. This is borne out by the regular launches of new newspapers and magazines into an already flourishing print media scene; growing demand for textbooks; and the rise of a packaged goods industry.The print market which been valued at $12.6bn in 2006, is expected to double to $25.1bn by 2012.
