Tribal DDB India has appointed Abhishake Das as creative director. This is Das' second stint with the agency.
LinkedIn has strengthened its advertising team by bringing in Dhiman Mukherji and Sunny Saurabh. Mukherji has been appointed as the director for their advertising sales team and Sunny Saurabh as head of their advertising solutions team.In his new role, Mukherji will lead LinkedIn's advertising sales by looking at unique ways to bring in value creation capabilities to their business. He has close to 13 years of experience in the media industry. Prior to this, he was the head of sales at AOL and also has sales experience with Google.
Primesite has roped in Monisha Mitra as general manager. Prior to this, Mitra was with Kinetic, GroupM, where she headed the strategy and planning departments.On appointing Mitra as general manager, Mandeep Malhotra, senior vice president, said, “I am thrilled to have Monisha on board as the General Manager of Primesite. Lowe + Partners has promoted Rupen Desai to the newly created role of president, South East Asia. Prior to the elevation, Desai was the network's operating director for Unilever's worldwide business. The role will see Desai focus on all SE Asia-Pacific territories, which include Australia and New Zealand and exclude China and India. Desai will report to Lowe + Partners chairman Tony Wright and chief operating officer, Michael Wall. Desai will also retain his leadership role on the network’s Unilever business.
Saatchi & Saatchi X, Saatchi's shopper marketing division, has appointed Amit Ajwani as general manager of its Mumbai office. Ajwani will report to Simon Hathaway, CEO Europe, Middle East, India and Africa Saatchi and Saatchi X. Commenting on Ajwani's appointment, Hathaway said, "I'm very excited to have found Amit.
Grey Mumbai has appointed Aarati Kakkad as creative director – copy. Kakkad will work with Grey's ECD, Rohit Malkani. Prior to joining Grey she was with Leo Burnett. Kakkad began her career at Concept Communications as a trainee, writing copy for brands like Onida. She moved on to Enterprise Nexus (Bates India) and worked on The Times of India, Femina, NECC and ICICI credit cards before joining O&M where she spent five years working on campaigns for Vodafone, Emirates, Kotak Mahindra Insurance and DHL.
