Ambareesh Chakraborty joins RK Swamy BBDO

Speaking about the appointment, Sangeetha N, president (W) and executive creative director, RK Swamy BBDO said, "RK Swamy BBDO is known for producing great results for its clients. Our creativity revolves around moving the consumers to make a purchase decision for the brands we work on. Ambareesh joining us will surely augment our creative offering.”

Added Chakraborty “I have always known that RK Swamy BBDO has enjoyed long standing relationships with its clients. I have gone through the creative reels and the work done here. It has been an eye-opener for me. The quality of work at RK Swamy BBDO and the focus on solving client problems, speaks volumes. I am looking forward to digging in and being a part of it."

Before TBWA India, Chakraborty has had stints with Ogilvy & Mather in India and Sri Lanka. His last assignment with Ogilvy was as head of creative at Phoenix Ogilvy & Mather, Sri Lanka before returning to India in 2008. In Sri Lanka, he has worked on brands such as Lion Beer, DHL, Ceylinco Insurance, NDB Bank, Smithkline Beecham and Coca-Cola, amongst others.
