Lerin Zacharia to head Renault business at Law & Kenneth

Law & Kenneth has brought Lerin Zacharia on board to head its Renault business. His designation will be vice president and he  will report to Anil Nair, chief executive officer and managing partner.
Zacharia has an overall experience of 16 years in the advertising domain. In his last role, he was with Ikon Advertising & Marketing in Dubai and was handling their automotive business, namely Ford (including the three marquees of the car manufacturer – Ford, Mercury, Lincoln), and Mazda. Apart from automobiles, he has worked on watches, lubricants, electronics and retail categories over the course of his career.

On his new role Zacharia said, "I have been very fortunate to have worked on automobiles right from the start of my career. I am very passionate about automobiles and when the opportunity came up to work in Law & Kenneth handling Renault and launch its Indian operations, I was doubly excited. For one, Law & Kenneth is a youthful agency full of energy and excitement that they not only bring to their workplace but also to the brands they build, and secondly I was once again getting to work on automobiles and launch a global brand in India. I look forward to  establishing Renault as a premium European automobile brand in the Indian market and making it a top contender in the coming years."

Nair said, "We didn't want someone from advertising for the Renault business, but someone with brand management experience in the automobile sector. The way Lerin has been involved with his projects, he's an out-and-out automobile guy and has almost been like a brand manager."
