JWT creates new TVC for GoodKnight

A new TVC featuring Vidya Balan for GoodKnight is now on air. Directed by Priyadarshan, the ad has been created by JWT.

The product, this time around, is the advanced low smoke coils of the brand. Balan plays a wife in the ad whose husband doesn’t believe she has lit the mosquito coil as there is no smoke to be seen from it. She eventually emerges victorious in the argument.

Commenting on the ad, Tarun Arora, executive vice president, marketing & sales, Godrej Household Products, said, “Vidya Balan, apart from being a renowned actor; succeeds in enhancing the value of the brand. Consumers hesitate in believing that a low smoke coil can effectively kill insects, hence we wanted a director who could provide full justice to reach them in the right way thus making Priyadarshan the perfect choice for it.” He added, “The new ad campaign communicates the message of safety and well being thereby reinforcing the message ‘Asar dikhega, dhuaan nahin’.”
