Ashish Bhasin, executive vice president of Lowe Worldwide and Asia regional director for Integrated Marketing has put in his papers. He spent close to 19 years at the agency. Prior to his elevation as executive vice president, Lowe Worldwide, Bhasin was director – Integrated Marketing Action Group (IMAG), Lintas India.
Prem Mehta's 32 year stint ends today
Today is the last time Prem Mehta will enter his room with a view at Lowe's office at Express Towers. His stint at Lintas, later Lowe, has seen the IPG agency become one of the most successful and profitable of Lowe's offices. Mehta (pictured here in his room on his last day in office) first joined Lintas on December 15, 1976, growing in the agency to finally assume the position of chairman and managing director of Lintas India.
'Prem's resignation natural order of things': Lowe's Gatfield
In a move that had for long been expected, Lowe Worldwide has announced that Prem Mehta, chairman and MD, Lintas India has resigned. Speaking on conference call, Steve Gatfield, CEO, Lowe Worldwide (pictured) said, “When Interpublic were in discussion with the Lintas Trustees and Prem with regard to the purchase of remaining equity in the group, Prem was very candid about his desire to not stay a long time beyond the closure of the deal.
