Narasimhan named CEO of Network 18's Infomedia
Network 18 has announced the appointment of Lakshmi Narasimhan as the CEO of their magazine publishing business under Infomedia which they acquired in December last year. Narasimhan was leading business development at Network 18 alongwith specific responsibility for maximizing revenues at the company. He was also involved in setting up several new ventures at Network 18, including Sports 18 and Synergy 18.
Alibaba, Infomedia form online alliance
Alibaba.com, the B2B e-commerce company, and Infomedia India have announced a strategic partnership that will benefit small and medium-size enterprises (SMEs) in India. The partnership will look at leveraging Infomedia’s strength in print publishing with Alibaba’s online media and e-commerce expertise, in providing Indian SMEs with a one-stop solution for global and domestic trade.
