Swiggy helps Farhan and Shibani Akhtar enter dining-related banter

Swiggy has rolled out a campaign ‘Dineout ab Swiggy par’ (now dineout with Swiggy) featuring actors and real-life couple Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar Akhtar to highlight its Dineout offerings on the food delivery app. 

 

Conceptualised by Enormous, the films feature Farhan and Shibani Akhtar in different scenarios engaging in banter The first film showcases a misunderstanding between Shibani and Farhan, where Shibani feels that Farhan never listens to her as she wants to go out and dine. While Farhan, on the other hand, says they should Swiggy it (often referred to as ordering in). The banter continues until the chauffeur in the film clears the confusion and supports Farhan to reveal the Dineout option on Swiggy. 

 

In the second film, Farhan and Shibani are seen at a restaurant with the former happy about getting a huge discount on the bill. When Shibani asks how, Farhan chooses to boast that the owner of the restaurant is a big fan of his. His lie is caught when a restaurant staff member walks in and congratulates them for enjoying the discount through Swiggy Dineout.

Through this entertaining campaign, with Farhan and Shibani Akthar, we are confident of making a strong mark in the dining out category.”
