Hero MotoCorp has rolled out a new ad film that for its Maestro and Pleasure scooters. The film stars brand ambassadors Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor (Maestro) and Alia Bhatt (Pleasure). The film has been conceptualised by FCBUlka and went on air on 12 October.

The film begins with Kapoor on a terrace. He kicks a football to a friend, initiating a series of exchanges between a group of soccer enthusiasts. The boys showcase their freestyle skill with the ball before getting onto their Maestro scooters.  As they move through the city, they use their scooters to keep the ball moving, showing off some bike stunts in the process. Eventually, the group enters a warehouse. The ball is stopped by Bhatt and her gang of girls on Pleasure scooters awaiting  their arrival.

As Bhatt says, “Let’s play”, one of the boys retorts saying, “It’s a boy thing”. Amused, Bhatt and the girls breakout their football skills with the ball and the scooters. Bhatt gets the ball back and says, “Why should boys have all the fun.”

The groups take their shirts off to showcase the Hero football jerseys and run to the ball, as the film ends with the message 'The game has just begun'.

The film is set to a peppy track that captures the carnival atmosphere of the sport.

Sanjay Sharma, group creative director, FCB  Ulka Delhi, said, “We wanted to use football as an enabler of youth unification with a very light-hearted and playful approach, using brand Hero as a driver for this unification.”

Sharad Mathur, vice president, FCB Ulka, Delhi, said, “The aim was to get the most out of Maestro’s & Pleasure’s perceptions and use it effectively to drive the youth towards this mega football event. This fast-paced, action packed commercial speaks the youth’s language and successfully brings the opposite poles together”.
