Dream11 sets up for IPL 2021 with 12-film campaign

Watch the films conceptualised by Tilt Brand Solutions here

Fantasy sports platform Dream11 has rolled out a series of films as part of its campaign for the Indian Premier League.

Conceptualised by Tilt brand solutions, there are 12 films in total, six of which are a part of the #Dream11PeDimaagLagao idea and the rest are part of #TeamHaiTohMaazaHai, one of which is yet to be released. The films under the former, aim to tell the viewer to use their innovative side for Dream11, while the latter showcases the perks of team spirit.

Under the first idea, each of the films showcases the protagonist making silly, but smart excuses to get out of situations that they want to escape. The films end with MS Dhoni’s standard commentary which says, ‘Dimaag lagaana hai, toh Dream11 pe lagaao’ (if you want to put your mind to it, do it for Dream11).

The second idea #TeamHaiTohMaazaHai (there's fun if there's a team), showcases friends who together make it possible to do tasks, which would otherwise be challenging to complete. Each of these films star a cricketer - Hardik Pandya appears in two, while MS Dhoni, Shikhar Dhawan and Shreyas Iyer appear in one each.

Shriram Iyer, chief creative and content officer, Tilt Brand Solutions said, "The last three seasons that we have been creating the campaign for Dream11, our approach has always been two-pronged; create brand love with stories that involve fans and their favourite cricketers and while doing so, also communicate that Dream11 is a game of skill and requires genuine knowledge of the sport itself. So you will always see both these messages working in tandem. This season's campaign is yet another hat tip to the sport and its ability to bring the stars of the sport and fans together. And the message 'team hai toh mazaa hai', literally means that making your team on Dream11 makes for great excitement and joy."
