Tata Teleservices hires Anupama Wagh-Koppar as AVP-marketing

Tata Teleservices has appointed Anupama Wagh-Koppar (pictured) as AVP-marketing. Wagh joins from JWT India where she was VP and strategic planning director. In her new role, she will report to Lloyd Mathais, chief marketing officer, Tata Teleservices. She will join within a week.

Tata Teleservices has appointed Anupama Wagh-Koppar (pictured) as AVP-marketing. Wagh joins from JWT India where she was VP and strategic planning director. In her new role, she will report to Lloyd Mathais, chief marketing officer, Tata Teleservices. She will join within a week.

Speaking to Campaign India on the new appointment, Mathais said, "With the way telecom industry is growing and the way Tata Teleservices is growing with more than 60 million subscribers now, there is a need for much sharper customer segmentation. Koppar will be our specialist in this area."

Koppar has over 17 years of experience in the field of marketing. She has spent a large part of her career in the area of brand management and consumer research. She has worked with companies like Marico, Parle Products, Bombay Dyeing, Cipla and TNS Research.
