iris bolsters digital and experiential capability in India

Independent integrated marketing agency, iris India, has further strengthened its digital and experiential capabilities with 16 new appointments.  The news comes just weeks after announcing the hiring of Param Saikia, Publicis Modem / Dialogue’s long standing CEO, to the role of CEO of iris India.

Independent integrated marketing agency, iris India, has further strengthened its digital and experiential capabilities with 16 new appointments.  The news comes just weeks after announcing the hiring of Param Saikia, Publicis Modem / Dialogue’s long standing CEO, to the role of CEO of iris India.

Saikia will be joined by Arnav Neel Ghosh, the VP of digital marketing at Publicis Modem; Ashish K. Mathur, the senior VP of experiential at Publicis Dialog and Ram Krishna, AVP digital strategy at Publicis Modem. All three will take on the same titles at iris and will be based in the Delhi office, reporting to managing director Alok Lall, from this month. The appointments will boost iris’ headcount to over 60 people.

Said Lall, “We’ve hired a raft of brilliant talent who are leading lights in their discipline and in the industry. They really understand true integration and believe in innovation, which is at the core of what iris is about. With digital and experiential continuing to grow, we’re delighted that they’re bringing their invaluable experience on board for the next phase in iris’ journey”.

Ghosh has over 15 years in the industry with most of that dedicated to digital marketing.  His experience in strategy planning and developing integrated digital marketing programs saw him responsible for driving the digital strategy for LG, Capgemini, Hewlett Packard and MTS whilst at Publicis Modem. He also spent five years in the UK and Spain creating  digital marketing programs for various telecom brands. Prior to Publics Modem he worked at JWT and TBWA.

Mathur is a below-the-line specialist with over 25 years of industry experience. He was the founder of Ogilvy’s venture into the event, promotion and exhibition business in 2000, where he was activation head (North), leading a team of over 50 dedicated professionals across all BTL disciplines.  His client experience includes Aviva, Google, the International Olive Council (IOC), Royal Challenge, Director’s Special, Antiquity, and handled work for Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week, the Aero India show.

Krishna is an online marketing, advertising and business development professional with award-winning management consulting experience. His early career saw him working in the US as one of the first team members of Publicis Dialog New York's interactive team. At Publicis, Ram was responsible for overseeing online marketing campaigns for Garnier, BMW, Sanofi-Aventis, Harry & David among others. Since returning to India in 2008, he has worked as an independent consultant and provides services in the areas of online marketing, business development and brand building.
