A Rediffusion Red Lab Straw Poll for Campaign India reveals that entertainment factor is higher than cricket for IPL viewers

74% of India looking forward to IPL for its great entertainment
According to a Rediffusion Red Lab Straw Poll conducted for Campaign India, the entertainment factor of the IPL is greater than the cricket on show for its viewers.
 
Red Lab conducted telephone interviews to find out that 52% of the respondents were keenly looking forward to the IPL, with 36% not excited by the tournament and 12% kind of looking forward.
 
 
The total sample size for the study was 414 people with 287 males and 127 females. 
 
Of those who were looking forward, 74% did so because of the great entertainment the tournament provides. 
 
Multiple responses were allowed for these questions
 
The biggest reason for not watching the tournament was an overdose of cricket.
