Cadbury celebrates the many flavours of friendship

Cadbury has rolled out an ad film for the limited edition release of its Dairy Milk product. The film has been conceptualised by Ogilvy & Mather and has been released ahead of friendship day, 2 August.
 
A group of girls star in the film.  A young woman is at the centre of attention, being counselled by her friends – each with a different flavour of Dairy Milk in her hand – following her break up. The first friend offers her the bar of chocolate while making the statement that 'all boys are the same'. The second teases her with a bar of chocolate and another boy’s number. The third proposes the ‘perfect plan’, a holiday in Goa.  The last friend asks the girl if she can call him (the ex-boyfriend), now that the protagonist has broken up with him.
 
The confusion gives way to laughter once she realises that her friend was joking. A voice over says, “Every friend adds a special flavour. This friendship day, add a flavour, add a friend.” The limited edition product is then introduced.

The latest TVC celebrates and honours another very important aspect of relationships- friendship. With Friendship Day round the corner, the TVC highlights how every friend adds a special flavour to one’s life like the variety of Cadbury Dairy Milk flavours like Original, Fruit & Nut, Crackle, Roast Almond and new limited edition flavours – Coffee Almond & Black Forest.”
