Adfest 2016: BBDO India bags Grande Lotus Roots, one Gold, in nine-metal haul

Adfest 2016: BBDO India bags Grande Lotus Roots, one Gold, in nine-metal haul
 
BBDO India bagged the Grande Lotus Roots for its work ‘Touch The Pickle’ for P&G’s Whisper at Adfest 2016, winners of which were announced over the weekend in Pattaya.
 
The entry also bagged a Gold in the Media Lotus category, taking the agency’s tally to nine awards (four Silver, three Bronze) at the festival this year.  The agency’s other winning entry was ‘Share the Load’, for Ariel Matic.
 
P&G was awarded ‘Advertiser of the Year’ while BBDO was crowned ‘Network of the Year’.
Another Indian agency to win Gold was Taproot Dentsu, for work on IOAA in the Print Craft competition. The agency ended with six metals including three Silver, with work on Dulux contributing to the tally.
 
Creativeland Asia ended up converting its only shortlist into an award. It bagged an Effective Lotus for work on Kalpataru Amoda Reserve.
 
McCann Erickson’s  series for Gastrina helped the agency bag seven metals, which included four Silver and three Bronze trophies. The agency’s shortlist in Film, Rudaali for Radio Mirchi, bagged a Silver.
 
J. Walter Thompson India won two Bronze awards, while Contract Advertising and Dentsu Webchutney bagged a Bronze each.
